Tower Service is a great garage. The are prompt with service and send quotes by e-mail ahead of providing service. I would like to see a loyal program or discounts for leaving your car for service convenience. Since I live near by I often leave my car for a couple days for ease. |

Prompt, courteous service. Well taken care of. |

Service was good but I was not happy that the brake work was done to my car without my notice. I brought the car in for an oil and filter change and mentioned that the brake light kept going on. When I went to pick up the car 1.5 hrs. later I found it up on the hoist and was informed that brake work was being done ($500) and the car would not be ready until the next day. This was a problem because I was going out of town the next day.I was offered a "loaner car" which was helpful. I would just appreciate being notified before work is done on my car, especially when it is so costly and my car was not going to be available to me. |

Quality, trustworthy work with a personal touch. (Would have given you a 4.5 but there's no provision for half points) :) |

As always, the services was good, but I feel almost $500 for a starter was too expensive. |

I went to Tower Service Station on Upper Wellington because one of the bolts on my hub assembly was loose and I couldn't get the lug nut off myself. I had already bought a new hub assembly and five bolts somewhere else in case I needed them, so when I went in, I simply asked them to remove the one lug nut and replace the bolt I had already purchased. $234.48 later, he had replaced three of the bolts and shredded the area around the bolt that I needed fixed. When I originally went in, I talked to Bill and he told me that they would take a quick 20 minute look at it, see what they can do and hopefully fix the problem. He also wouldn't even give me an estimate... Tower Service Station charges $110/hr for labour and as per Bill, that's in line with other garages on the mountain... For point of reference, Nissan on Upper James charges $110/hr as well..... I don't know what's so special about the mountain, but for this alone, I'd recommend the 5 minute trip down the mountain for cheaper labour rates. As per the service I received, I'm extremely disappointed. They replaced the one bolt, so they got the job done, but it was DEFINITELY not worth $234.48. I live right around the corner from Tower Service Station and I like to support local businesses, that's why I went to them. However, I will never be going back to them. |
